good morning I'm Doctor Scott and I miss Caldwell welcome to the E2 news this is the news for the week of Tuesday May 28th to Friday May 31st which is our last day of school can you believe it's the last week of school for the whole year summer break is just around the corner and we hope you enjoy this week and finish strong here is this week's lunch menu Tuesday hamburger cheese burger or crispy chicken soft tacos Wednesday chicken sandwich or hamburger Thursday fiestada pizza or corn dog and Friday hot dogs for a field day we are continuing our ABC countdown to the last day of school today is wacky hair for w tomorrow is extra recess and autographs for the letter X Thursday is yes day which means your teacher have to say yes to something you asked for and Friday is 0 days left for the letter Z Friday is also our second annual field day this is Crosby and her staff and volunteers I have been working very hard to plan a fabulous day for us to have outside doing really fun stuff and now let's go to mrs. Womack for a special announcement some of you already know this information but we wanted to make sure that everyone knows that mrs. Womack and myself we are retiring at the end of the school year retirement retiring me doesn't mean we're too old to work anymore doesn't mean we can't do our jobs anymore doesn't mean that were so tired that everyday were really tired no being retired means that we are no no longer going to be working at Eastside anymore or ready to do something different with our time and it may mean spending more time with family especially grandkids or working somewhere or volunteering somewhere else or maybe that were spending our day reading books and eating Eminem we don't know it also means that we will continue to love eat too and it's wonderful students we will keep in touch with you and we'll see what's happening next year and we will miss you very much but we also know that all of you will continue to be proud positive and productive even though we're not here anymore but we're going to soak up this last week that we have together with all of you just know we love you and we're very proud of all of our students and this wonderful amazing staff and as always thank you for being positive and productive so now that everyone knows that I'll be retiring and will no longer be principal I need to make sure that everyone knows who the next principal will be she's sitting right next to me this Miss Caldwell super excited to have her I'm so excited to be e to the principal starting next year each was already a wonderful place for students and staff and I'm looking forward to the new opportunities in the upcoming year thank you and now it's time for the shout out of the week and remember Shadows shout-outs or opportunities to celebrate each other's kindness accomplishments we would like to give a shout out to mrs. Crosby who is the other fabulous field day for the last day of school thank you thank you for making our last day extra special I'd like to give a shout out to mrs. Womack and mrs.
