please rise and face the flag and we'll do the Pledge of Allegiance together today I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all please take a moment of silence we hear decide know the importance and the power to our breathing every school morning we start our day with a breathing exercise to get our brains and our body ready for learning so this is called the imaginary cup let's fill our cup with a deep breath and then let's empty it slowly ready stand up straight here we go another one let's do one more now we're ready to go remember you can do deep breathing anytime anytime you feel anxious or scared or just kind of wound up just do a couple of deep breaths and not to get your body in your your brain ready for the next thing thank you good morning this is a first grade teacher and I miss Kresge third grade teacher welcome to the E2 news this is prayers for the week of August 24th through Friday August 28th what's a reminder are cafeteria ladies are out delivering meals on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10 and 1 so be on the lookout for those big yellow buses our theme for the month is kindness we hope you are finding ways to be kind to yourself and the people in your community last week mrs. Womack to put together a drawing for of those students who are attending their meetings everyday and completing their assignment is wolbach how do you cite explorers each week your teachers are going to put the names of students who are attending the class meetings and getting their assignments completed they're going to put their names in our drawing and tweak I'm going to choose two students from each grade level and winners if you are chosen look for something special in the mail from your family at Eastside Elementary keep up the good work you guys okay to our first car from kindergarten if I can get a couple of names here our first kindergartener is from his ralston's class and it's Colby Bendis Colby you are the winner and then our other kindergartener Garners class and it is Elena stall congratulations Elena okay from first grade our first winter I was from mrs. Owens class one of our newscasters today and this winter is Charlie Ferguson and then from 4th grade again is from mrs. spots class and this winter is Charles boss keep up the good work you guys alright second grade how about Oprah Miss bennet's class Ariana smooth in our other winner from second grade from mrs. Miller's class in its Van Der Curtis congratulations and keep up the good work you guys okay third grade from mr. Yoder's class or first winter is Delilah lemon way2go Delilah and then our second winner from third grade this week is for Miss Cross Keys class another one of our newscasters and it is Presley Lions congratulations Presley keep up the good work fourth graders from mrs. reisinger's class J Albright the job j keep it up and our last winner for this week from fourth grade is from his Freeman's class and it's a Swindle way to go say keep up good work keep it up you guys will put drawings put your names and drawings every week and if you do your assignments and I send those classes you might just get something special for us in the mail and he said explorers don't forget be proud positive and productive and now let's go to Doctor Scott for another one of her fabulous jokes let's get this over with hello Eastside I'm here again ready for another great joke today but you can't guess where I'm at obviously not in my office I'm going to be at a different location every week if you can figure out where I'm at so just for the day this is kind of to get you ready for winter here's a joke how does a penguin build its house wait for it it glue this again big enough. I know they are kind of groaners as one of our students said to me but it is a great joke and you know you want to tell your parents so let them know about that I'm glad that guys are working hard to keep up the good work
