Freeman and I miss his dad welcome to the E2 news this is the news for the week of Monday January 11th to Friday January 15th we are really missing all of you here at school it's great to connect with zoom but school just isn't the same without you here please please please continue your work every day and try to get on Zoom as much as possible because we just love to see your smiling faces remember our social emotional learning theme for January is responsibility responsibility means something that is your duty or your job we all have responsibilities to ourselves and each other when we sell responsibility we make good choices do our work and respectful to others and now it's time for the word of the week this week's word is promise A promise is a state saying that you will or won't do something so that these words mean the same thing as promise pledge or a pledge and a promise no more yes and a promise are basically the same thing what about an elf is an oath somewhere to a promise yes an oath and a promise I'm phasic Ali the same thing what about an exaggeration is an exaggeration similar to a promise what do you think and remember to use the word while speaking and writing I guess we need to go to Doctor Scott for another one of her fabulous joke followed by mrs. Womack and then Going the Distance award good morning kids I'm back with another joke I'm really ready to do these over announcements but until you're back it's right here so here's my joke what do you call a pig that no karate a pork chop I hope you guys have a great week don't forget to be proud of positive and productive good morning excited it is time for a Going the Distance Awards thank you for continuing to do good work we miss you guys so much but we're glad that a lot of you were doing a great job with your remote learning so thank you okay kindergartners are winners this week are from mrs. open class and Jacqueline woods and Miss Carter's class Charlotte Fischer way to go girls to girls okay from first grade another girl Janiah Haynes for mrs. Bush class and from Missy Mister Billings class Leland Russell way to go Leland your first boy for the week all right 2nd graders let's see what we got mrs. Miller Alina Henry is our first second grader and our other second graders from his reports class and it's Jack's Laplante way to go Jack hope I said your last name right buddy okay from third grade or first winner is Kaya Rangel and how about from his dad's class Matthew short way to go Matthew keep up the good work okay and from 4th grade from mrs. reisinger's Alana Chris Chrisman way2go Alana and our last fourth grader for this week is from Miss McEwen class and it's Carson dates way to go karts and keep up the good work and once again Eastside explorers even though it's tough thank you for being proud positive and productive have a great week
