please rise and face the flag and we'll do the Pledge of Allegiance together today I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all please take a moment of silence good morning I'm trying to install and I'm Kaelyn Roy welcome to the E2 news this is the news for the week of March 6th to Friday March 10th here's this week's lunch menu Monday orange chicken or meatball sub Thursday sloppy joe or breaded chicken sandwich Wednesday country fried chicken or cheese for or hamburger Thursday spaghetti or mini Corn Pops Friday Crystal toast sticks with egg Patty or Beefaroni our social / emotional theme for the money of March is self-awareness self-awareness is a knowing yourself and how are you come across to others self-awareness comes in very handy and understanding how a choices and behavior the Explorer book store will be opening Wednesday during lunch I've been testing happening this week for all second and third graders all of us need to be extra quiet in the hallways this week while testing is we are very excited about our authors visit this Thursday Kim Howard author of Great sandbox will be here all day on Thursday and then again literacy night from 6 to 7:30 be sure to bring your families back to school on Thursday for literacy night this is Howard will do a short presentation about writing and then we will have lots of fun tivities like Bingo from work using the author and book making bookmaking and lots more every family that comes to literacy night will receive an autographed copy of Grey sandbox that's awesome we haven't checked in on our Explorer completely let's see if there are examples of great procedures last week and now it's time for the word of the week this week's word a self-aware game so far where is the ability to think about your thoughts and feelings so are you self-aware you take your mad out on others you know taking her feelings out on others is not being self-aware are you self-aware if you apologize for a mistake you yes taking responsibility for mistakes is a way to show you are self-aware or people who are selfish ml what do you think and remember to use the word while speaking and writing and now it's time for the shutout of the week we all would like to give a shout out to several classes who have met their classroom goals which in turn the popcorn party congratulations to mr. villain and Miss PLS classes keep up the great work and shout out to mrs. tinlin miss McGinnis McBride Angela McBride classes for meeting their class and goes as well let it go and now it's go to Mrs wilmott for the fish catch drawing from Morningside explorers once again it's Parker's cash drawing for bucks before we get there you guys knew where I was a lot of you told me where I was this week and this is the Indianapolis Children's Museum so it's just right downtown Indianapolis about an hour away from us and I I think it was just voted the best children's museum in the whole country so we have it in our own State very cool alright if you know where I am this week let me know please okay let's start with our drawing with kindergarten kindergarten classes have have had the opportunity to shop so I think we're going to get from some other classes today let's see what we got okay I first one is from this is Miss McCoy class and it is kehlani honey congratulations you have wanted gift certificate you can use for free book on Wednesday at 6 for bookstore second winner is for mrs. Ross's class and it's Armani and then we have I think you were in mrs. McCoy's class but you know where you are Jaden Watson and then are last winter is from mrs. Ross's class and it is Athena so congratulations kindergarteners that's going to first grade from first grade or first winner is for mrs. Chaplin's class Alex from is a friend's class Noah image of chaplains class again Xavier and our last winner from this week is for mrs. Chaplin's class again and it is Dave congratulations first graders all right second graders let's see what you got babies class been from mrs. Miller's class Brennan from mrs. Bennet's class Ann and from its Bennett's class again Amaya can Galatians second graders let's go on to 3rd grade all right for mr. Yoder's class Bentley and I think there's two of you this is Bentley with two e's at the end mrs. McGinnis his class or second winner is Paulina from mr. Yoder's class again Mason and then again for mr. Yodas class irelia congratulations third graders all right fourth grade remembers reisinger's class the first winter is Alexandra we have for mrs. Freeman's class Kaelyn Kaelyn Lloyd one of her newscasters congratulations crayon then from is reisinger's class again Sebastian and our last winter from fourth grade is from mrs.
