please rise and face the flag and we'll do the Pledge of Allegiance together today I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all please take a moment of silence good morning I'm gauge early and I'm Kendra cuff welcome to the E2 news this week this is the news for speak up Monday September 19th to Friday the 10th or 23rd here's this week's lunch menu Monday orange chicken to his hamburger or cheeseburger Tuesday sloppy joe Choice breaded chicken sandwich Wednesday country fried chicken to his cheeseburger or hamburger there's a spaghetti mini corn Puffs Friday French toast sticks toys Beefaroni remember our theme for this month mindset lifelong Learners has a growth mindset that means we know we can learn new things with time and practice and now let's go to mister billing for an important announcement about breakfast with Al All-Pro dads hey I'm really excited to be helping launch something he ready to call doll Pro dad and it's a chance for us to once a month to get together with either our dad step dad or Uncle Grandpa important man in your life is for them to come with you on a morning sometime next week Wednesday is when we're going to watch this at 7:45 we're going to meet for about an hour 45 minutes before school or can have a free breakfast for going to talk about how we can be better at showing respect and kindness to others and if you want to be a part of it you can have a grown-up register with the information that went home with your teacher or there's also information on ClassDojo or Facebook but we can't wait to get together we already have almost 100 dads and their kids were going to be joining us and if you are not one of them yet we would love to have you join us and now it's time for that word of the week this week's word is focus focus is giving attention or concentration to something so doesn't take to do well on a test yes absolutely you have to focus in order to do your best does it take Focus to eat a chocolate chip cookie no not really you can eat a chocolate chip cookie pretty easily without Focus doesn't take Focus to play a sport what do you think and remember to use the word while speaking and writing now it is time to see what are Explorer again last week he was always practice good procedures you might show up on the cam and now it's time for the 3 fourth grader and brown would like to give a shout out to mrs. ChiRaq Chiraq for teaching him skills that are helping him do better in school and make better grade thank you mrs. Chiraq you're awesome and now let's go to Mrs wilmax for the fish cash drawing for books good morning Eastside explorers it is time for our first fish cash drawing of the year let me tell you a little bit about this when you spend your fish cash in your classroom or on the fish card we take your fish cash and we put them in the drawing and then every week on the news I will pull out or names from each grade and then you won't get a book certificate for a free book on Wednesday at the Explorer book store which is starting this Wednesday on the stage during lunch so if your name gets called don't come down to the office I'm going to take the certificates and put them in your tea mailboxes so your teacher will have them you don't need to come down to the office to get it okay now the other thing we do with the fish cash drawing since we are Eastside explorers I tend to be in weird places all over the world in the background so if you recognize where I am this week and you see me you tell me where this is and where I am for the drawing cuz we're only side explorers let's get busy with the drawing at 4 and then if your name gets called you will get a certificate for a free book to use on Wednesday our first of the year is from his daughter's class and it is Kayden Hayden, or don't come down we'll get your certificate from mr. villains class or second winner is dajon and from mrs. Chaplin's class Tony is there a winner in our last first grader for this week is for missus gas again and it's Harmony congratulations Harmony for the book certificate their first cash though they did not win a book but you're okay Mrs Ivy's class Jamal is our for 2nd grader this is Ivy's class again Mason mrs. Forest class she put her name on her fish cash Nevaeh is our third winner from second grade and then this is Miller is our fourth winter and it looks like it's Billy Billy come on down and get a certificate alright third-grader first letter is from his dad's class and it's Anya come on down don't come down on you will get your certificate from mrs. class Hunter is our next winner from mrs. McGinnis is class Liam and then our last winner from third grade for this week is for mrs. McGinnis has class again and it's Cameron come on don't come down we'll get your certificate okay from fourth grade our first winter is mrs. Reisinger and it's Rebecca next winter is from Miss Johnson's class Kelly third winner is Miss McKinney's class it is Jordan and our last winter I happened to get too and it happens to be the same person that's good for Miss Johnson's class our last winner is JC JC congratulations on your books and once again Eastside explorers thank you as always for being proud positive and productive how to braid
