please rise and face the flag and we'll do the Pledge of Allegiance together today I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all please take a moment of silence good morning I'm Doctor Scott and I misses Womack welcome to the E2 news we just wanted to say thank you for a great start the school year we are so glad that you're here no doubt E2 has the best staff and students around full of important information like our lunch menu our social emotional theme for the my special announcements the word and then shout outs for fantastic normally the news we brought to you by our fourth grade newscasters so 4th graders remember I talk with you be on the lookout for an application to become a newscaster students who are chosen need to have completed an application as well as be a student role model of being proud positive and productive started because this is a busy week here D2 this is the news for the week of Monday August 15th to Friday August 19th and here is our lunch menu Monday General Tso's chicken or Choice Pizza Rippers PBJ uncrustable chicken sandwich or turkey sandwich chicken and noodles Choice pepperoni calzone or PB&J uncrustable Thursday lasagna Choice sausage or cheese pizza or sandwich and Friday popcorn chicken in or your choice of hamburger or cheeseburger or a PBJ uncrustable our social emotional theme for the month of August is about being friendly considerate and loving toward others and time is truly does make the world a better place yes so be sure to look for ways to be kind here at school maybe you could help us add friend or tell your teacher they're doing a great job the kind of possibilities are endless orders and money or do no later than this Friday in the office so don't forget and now it's time for the this week's weirdest community a community is a group of people working together and looking out for each other so our neighborhoods and communities similar a lot of times we look out for each other in our neighborhoods and we have to work together to make our neighborhood both fun and safe okay so can you call the school a community of course working together and looking out for each other so schools are communities as well can a classroom Unity what do you think and remember to use the word while speaking and writing and now it's time for the shout out of the week I would like to goodbye behavior and procedures thank you and keep up the great work bus riders and I would like to give a shout out to all of our kindergarten teachers for showing patience and kindness which happens to be our theme to all of our brand new kindergarten and now I have a great week
