please rise and face the flag and we'll do the Pledge of Allegiance together today I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all please take a moment of silence good morning I'm mrs. Crosby and I miss his car welcome to the E2 news this is the news for today Steph Monday November 23rd to Friday November 27th are fabulous cafeteria ladies will be making and distributing two breakfasts and two lunches today at bus stop there will not be any food mission on Wednesday because this is Thanksgiving week no school on Wednesday Thursday or Friday of this week we're continuing to focus on conflict resolution this month for social emotional learning hopefully you're finding ways inconsiderate peacemakers as you solve problems with the people in your life and now it's time for the week this word is teamwork teamwork means a group of people working together to get something done which of these is an example of teamwork yes the more people to help clean the house the quicker it goes what is a great example of teamwork what about refusing to stay quiet while your teacher read a story out loud no talking while the teacher is reading is disruptive and destroy tactful and it is definitely not an example of teamwork is that what do you think and remember to use the words while speaking and write it and now it's time for the shut up mrs. Miller would like to give a shout out to second grader Sophia table for being so encouraging to her classmates on Zoom meeting way to go Sofia that's awesome Miss Bennet would like to give a shout out to second grader Ashland Hernandez are going the extra mile on zoom and sings the teacher to complete her assignments you're such a hard worker Ashley keep up the good work and now let's go to Doctor Scott for an important reminder and another one of her fabulous jokes followed by mrs. Womack for the Going the Distance Awards hi this is Doctor Scott and I'm here with a reminder to parents and Guardians about making your selection for either virtual or in-person schooling as we move to the second semester please remember what's the choices made it can not be reversed and your selection must be made no later than November 30th this can be easily done on the E2 website so take a look at the short video showing how to make collection here's how you can make your choice between virtual or in-person schooling go to re to website at2 acsc.net in the middle of our home screen you will see a large white box that you can click to make your second semester choice it will take you to the ACs page for second semester instructional set choices scroll down to where you see Eastside Elementary and click on second semester instructional setting the storm is quick and easy to fill out you must complete a separate form for each of your children you'll need to put your email address your students first and last name drop down the list to choose your student's grade level make your choice between face-to-face and virtual add your telephone number and type your name get your signature click the green submit button and you're finished I don't know how this happened last week but I forgot to tell a joke so because of that I am here with two fantastic Thanksgiving jokes there's a very first one what key has legs can't open the door a turkey that's my first one okay here's another one this is for Thanksgiving dinner is a great joke to tell your grandparents is a turkey's favorite dessert peach GOBBLER I hope you guys have a great day don't forget to be proud positive and productive good morning you sat explorers it's time for Going the Distance Awards thank you all for doing such a good job with your remote learning I know it's a challenge sometimes but some of you are doing a fantastic job so let's see who our Winters are for this week from kindergarten or first winners his lectures class and it's a Shia Burton way to go with Shia and then from this is ralston's class or second winner is Jay Lee pediford way to go Jaylee all right we'll go right into first grade here from mrs. Matthews class Jackson Goblin way to go Jackson and how about from his Farmers class Bernardo Martinez Cruz keep up the good work for Nardo okay second graders from mrs. Dalton's class Roscoe's thornbrugh way2go Roscoe and then from mrs. Miller's class we have Malachi Marin keep up the good work there Malachi okay third grade from mrs. McGinnis is class Hayden Thompson and then from sissy third grade from this is Tim Allen's class Ariana Conover way to go Ariana fourth graders from this is Landon's class Carson's foyer way to go Carson and our last 4th grader for this week is from his friends class and it is Levi Buckner way to go Levi keep up the good work and to all of our reset explorers thank you for being proud positive and productive Happy Thanksgiving and have a great week
