Biography

Hi! I’m Mrs. Milburn. I’ve been teaching in Anderson Community Schools for 18 years in the area of special education.  I am currently a part of the amazing 3rd grade team.   I assist students with special accommodations both academically and behaviorally.  I help build an environment that provides them the ability to be successful.  I LOVE building relationships with students that helps them feel safe and secure.  I provide the opportunity to learn in small groups to enhance their learning experience. I have also enjoy teaching in the Intense Intervention classroom. I get excited seeing a child finally “GET IT” whatever the subject may be! 
 
I grew up in Anderson and attended Tenth Street Elementary, East Side Middle School, and Highland High School. I love to sing, craft, camp, and teach!  I'm married and I have 4 children.   I have 4 grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls with another sweet boy on the way.  

All of my children have attended and graduated from Anderson Community Schools!  All have successful working careers.  We love working and serving in our community.
