Biography

I am originally from the Washington, D.C. area and went to school in Virginia.  I married an "Army man" so we were blessed to be able to travel to many places. Because of our army experience, I have had the opportunity to teach in 2 foreign countries, Germany and South Korea, and 4 different states.  I have been in education for over 30 years. I have taught every grade from kindergarten through 6th grade and was even an art teacher for a while. I especially enjoy teaching history and science, as well as basic sign language. I have two awesome grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, a super-cute grandson and beautiful granddaughter. My husband and I have been married for over 30 years. We are involved in our church and mentoring at Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility together.
