Mr. Haskett

Hello, everyone! My name is Josh Haskett, and I am excited to join Anderson Community Schools and the Eastside Elementary family as your assistant principal this year. With seven years of experience teaching 7th and 8th-grade social studies, I have sponsored several clubs, coached football, and actively contributed to school improvement initiatives. I am happily married with one daughter and another little on the way.

Before my teaching career, I served in the United States Army as a 13 Bravo Field Artillery Cannon Crew member and later in a Human Resource position. My military experience, which included roles in deployment readiness, pay, travel, and legal issues, significantly shaped my character and skills. After my honorable discharge in 2013, I earned a Bachelor's in Secondary Social Studies Education from IUPUI. I was actively involved in leadership roles and worked as a career coach throughout my time at IUPUI.

Passionate about helping others, I pursued a Master's in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Ball State University. I am eager to collaborate with all stakeholders and become an active member of the Anderson Community. I look forward to working with you all and contributing to our school's continued success!
