Dalton and misses and our top students are Alex Meadows Elias Gail Kobe vendez Skyler while she's Annabelle Worsham Jasmine Turner Harper Broderick and Steven these students and teachers have earned $100 online shopping spree and our top winners earn $200 to spend online congratulations all together we raised over $13,000 towards student Thursday you were productive we are proud and know this has been a positive experience for everyone he ready to thank you all for your participation read Across America week read Across America week has begun a D2 this week is celebrated yearly at the beginning of March in coordination with the birthday of the Beloved author dr. Seuss the entire month of March in fact is dedicated to reading the National Education Association Nea aims to encourage reading and educate people about its benefit especially among children and young adults events are organized Across the Nation by schools organization organizations to promote read Across America week today actually begins our dress up days to celebrate read Across America week today the future dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham you remember to wear your green I mean it'd do you like green eggs and ham I do tomorrow the Places You'll Go dress up as what you want to be when you grow up Wednesday Rocky Wednesday and we want you to wear your clothes inside out backwards mix match add your wild and wacky socks to Thursday is Cat in the Hat day it's actually doctor Seuss's birthday so we're going to highlight that book The Cat in the Hat one of his most popular and we also know that Thing 1 and Thing 2 shop in that story so we're going to highlight twin day Stripes wear your favorite hat or and then Friday we've got One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish coming at you don't forget to wear your red and blue the favorite quote by dr. Seuss from the story I can read with my eyes shut the more that you read the more things you will know the more that you learn the more Places You'll Go have a great week and now it's time for the word of the week this week's word is cooperative and collaborative means working together towards a common goal so are you being operative when you're following in the classroom rules yes when people follow the rules anywhere they go they are there being more Cooperative because rules help work toward a common goal is being cooperative to refuse to give up the basketball because you're mad no hugging or kissing it for yourself keeps others from play that is not cooperative is being cooperative easy what do you think and remember to use the world now let's go to mrs. Walmart can fish cash drawing for book good morning side explorers once again it's time for fish cash drawing for books last week I was right here in sunny California San Francisco this is the Golden Gate Bridge one of the larger Bridges I believe at least in this country so if you know where I live you didn't know where this was by the way so thank you for telling me and stopping me and we can talk about it okay if you know where I am this week please let me know alright here we go from Miss Carter's class was able to shop so I think they're going to be all of our winners so kindergartens are starting to shop wonderful okay Everly second Miss Carter's class again is canon and then how about from the same class Serenity excellent and our last winner from Miss Carter's class again is Rowan so congratulations kindergartners keep up the good work remember you just went to book certificate that you can use for free book on Wednesday at the Explorer book store already first graders from mrs. Chaplin's class or first winner is Sadie and then for mr. bill in class and our last first grade winner for this week is from mr. Bill and fast again and it is Elias congratulations first graders into second grade Miss bennet's class nope mrs. Miller's class you got this from Miss Bennet Aaron from mrs. Ivey's class cray and our last second grader for this week is for mrs. Miller's class and it's Camilla congratulations second graders all right there Greg from Mrs Downes valves class and Isaiah recipe for mystery Yoder's class cuz Sean from mrs. McGinnis is class Allison and our last third-grader for this week from mrs. McGinnis has class again and it is EJ congratulations EJ and the rest of you third graders okay fourth grade from mrs.
