Biography

Mrs. Ray has been a Special Education Teacher for Anderson Community Schools since 1999. Her teaching experiences include Sp. Ed. Preschool, Resource, and 2nd-6th grade self-contained. 

Mrs. Ray was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana. She is a former Anderson Community Student and graduated from Highland High School. Mrs. Ray earned her undergrad and master degrees from Ball State University.

Mrs. Ray is the oldest of 4 children. She has 2 brothers and 1 sister. Mrs. Ray has been married for 24 years to her husband Chris. They have been blessed with 3 beautiful children, Anabella, Jacob, and Lillyana. Mrs. Ray also has a "bonus" daughter, a foreign exchange student from Spain named Clara that she hosted last school year.
She also shares her home with the family dog Bronco, 3 cats, Rayven, Coco, and Panda, and a rabbit, Rio.

Mrs. Ray loves spending her time watching her youngest daughter play volleyball. She enjoys spending time with her mom, nephews, and nieces. Mrs. Ray also likes to read, listen to country music, shop, watch movies on the Hallmark Channel, and travel to the beach, Texas, and Disney.
 
Mrs. Ray’s favorite things about teaching is seeing the progress her students make, being apart of their lives, and making a difference in their lives.
